Translate in Russian

“Translate” means “perevodit’” (“переводить”). “A translator” means “perevodchik” (“переводчик”). But you need to add the word “письменный” (“pis’menniy”) so a “translator” is a “письменный переводчик”. An “interpretor” is an “устный переводчик” (“ustniy perevodchik”). So the word “ustniy” is already included in the word “interpretor” in English.
