“Money” is “деньги” (“den’gi”) in Russian. There are a lot of slang versions of this word. You can ask your friend and even your colleague in a friendly way “Did you get that money?”. It means “Ты получил денежку?” (“Ty poluchil denezhku?”). In the case of a colleague, you can ask it instead of ”Did you get a paycheck?”. The word “денежка” (“denezhka”) has a diminutive-hypocoristic suffix. A slang word for “деньги” is “бабло” (“bablo”). It’s appropriate to use it with your buddies.
