I Quit in Russian

“I quit” is literally “Я бросил” (“Ya brosil”) in Russian. “I quit my job” is “Я бросил работу” (“Ya brosil rabotu”). If a woman says it, she should use the verb “brosila”. “I quit smoking” is “Я бросил курить” (“Ya brosil kurit’”). “I quit my family and friends” is “Я оставил мою семью и друзей” (“Ya astavil mayu sem’yu i druzey”). “Quit playing!” is “Перестань играть!” (“Perestan’ igrat’!”). “I quit school” is “Я бросил школу” (“Ya brosil shkolu”). “I quit piano lessons” is “Я бросил уроки игры на фортепьяно” (“Ya brosil uroki igry na fartepiana”). “I quit!” is “С меня хватит!” (“S menya hvatit!”) or “Я выхожу из игры!” (“Ya vyhazhu iz igry!”).
