Hi, My Name Is In Russian. Formal and Informal phrases

If you want to greet somebody and introduce yourself, you can say “Привет! Меня зовут …” (“Privet! Menya zovut …”) and say your name. But it’s appropriate if it’s an informal acquaintance.



If it’s an official meeting, you can say “Здравствуйте! Меня зовут …” (“Zdravstvyite! Menya zovut …”)
