Good Evening in Russian

“Good evening!” is “Добрый вечер!” (“Dobriy vecher!”) in Russian. It’s a etiquette speech formulae. You can use this greeting from 6 p.m. In winter when it gets dark early, it is appropriate to say “Dobriy vecher!” at nightfall.
