Excuse me in Russian

“Извините!” means “Excuse me” in Russian. It’s a formal way to ask for forgiveness. You can also use it to address to a stranger before asking the way or address to smb to ask for a favour. And it’s getting a universal addressing. It’s a commonly used polite form of pardon. “Excuse me” also means “Простите”. It’s an analog of “извините”.
