Are You Russian in Russian

“Are you Russian?” means “Ты русский?” (“Ty russkiy?”). Also you can ask, “Are you from Russia?” (“Ты из России?”, “Ty iz Rossii?”) or “Do you come from Russia?” (“Ты родом из России?”, “Ty rodom iz Rossii?”). You can also ask “Are you originally Russian?” (“Ты по происхождению русский?” (Ty po proishozhdeniyu russkiy?)), if you see a Russian in a foreign country. “Are you a Russian citizen?” means “Ты гражданин России?” (“Ty grazhdanin Rossii?”).
