Are You Ready in Russian

“Are you ready?” in Russian means “Ты готов” (“Ty gotov?”) if you address a man or “Ты готова?” (“Ty gotova?”) if you are speaking to a woman. There is also a similar phrase “get ready for something”. You can ask “Have you gotten ready for school?”. It means “Ты собралась в школу?” (“Ty sobralas’ v shkolu?”) or “Ты готова идти в школу?” (“Ty gotova idti v shkoly?”). “Have you gotten ready for work?” means “Ты собрался на работу?” (“Ty sobralsya na raboty?”) if you are addressing a man.
